Abstract: 

Developing Airborne Electronic Hardware for DO-254 compliance entails that applicants submit extensive professional documents and artifacts to the certification authority. The documents contain development plans and standards but also must include project data like design and verification artifacts. In addition the applicant must prove the review and change management processes are correct and reliable.

One possible method to ensure the documents contain valid data and to ensure the review and change management processes are reliable is to have all project data, documents content and checklist criteria in the single repository. During this webinar we will present how to efficiently manage the DO-254 compliant documents.

Presenter Bio:

Janusz Kitel is a Requirements Management Specialist at Aldec. He is responsible for the Spec-TRACER product line. Janusz has 6 years of experience in requirements engineering and over 11 years of experience in product quality assurance. Janusz received his M.S. in Electronics and Telecommunication from Silesian University of Technology and increased his knowledge around software engineering from complementary studies at AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland). His practical engineering experience includes the areas of functional verification, DO-254 compliance and software development.
